Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal for my final college season was to help my team win in whatever way I could. I did that by playing 3 different positions and every phase of special teams. I showed up every day with the focused intent to be the best teammate and football player I could be.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I am a very athletic, versatile player. I can play all over the field at different positions as well as special teams. Somebody who will show up every day to work and make the people around him better.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film of myself I try to figure out my thought process that went into the play; what I was thinking when I made a certain decision and why it was right/wrong. When I am studying other people I like to watch players who have a similar physical skill set to me and see what they do well and try to include that in my game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My versatility and experience separates me. I have the athleticism to play inside and outside the box, as well as experience doing both. In my career I have played for a lot of different coaches and different scenes and so learned football thoroughly. I also played a lot of special teams, especially at Nebraska, which will help an NFL team. I have the physical ability and football IQ to make an NFL team better by filling a variety of different roles.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I trained at Landow Performance in Denver for my pro day. The people there are awesome and I felt very well prepared for that important day. Now I am living in Lincoln, NE waiting to see where I end up. I am training with some old teammates here and with trainers I know around here.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strength is that I am extremely disciplined in my preparation and do not allow adversity to set me back. I have been through many tough situations in this game and always found a way to come out the other side a better person and player for it. I will bring my mindset to the next level and that is what will make me stand out. The mind is extremely powerful and I do everything I can to maximize that potential.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My mind is my greatest asset. Everything we can accomplish on this earth comes from the mind. I am an extremely disciplined, mentally focused human being that obsesses over the goals that I set for myself. I bring the best out of the people around me just by being myself and bringing others along with me. It takes a high level of mental fortitude and willpower to make it in the NFL, especially as a guy that isn’t a high draft pick. My strength of mindset along with my physical gifts is what will give me the opportunity to help a team win games.
