Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goal was to just do my best and control what I could control each and every day. I believed if I did that; I would ultimately reaped what I sowed.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I have so much perseverance. Through all the adversity life and football has thrown at me, I found a way to keep going.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I watch film in a very repetitive manner. I do this just to visualize myself making plays. I feel like If I can put myself in the persons shoes that I am watching, with the assignment that I am assigned to do; Once game time starts everything comes much easier. I also like to focus on the offensive lineman’s tendencies to help me with my run or pass keys.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m very competitive. At times I may say that I am too competitive. But I just use that to my advantage. I’ve always had that “bet watch me work” mindset.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m working on creating the best version of myself mentally, physically, and spiritually that ultimately will help me wherever I have an opportunity to play in the future. I’ll be training back in school with my strength and conditioning coach as well.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am be bringing a personality that is different from many others. I am very out-going and caring to people especially my teammates. I always want the best for everyone on and off the field. I feel like my selflessness is one of my greatest strengths that I look to take and grow beyond the game of football.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If I get any opportunity in any higher level setting I am taking it and running with it. Believe that.
