Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some goals that I set for my final season were, becoming a more action over word leader on the team, watching film 4-5 days a week for 45min periods, becoming all-conference, and wanting to get my first career interception. In my final collegiate season, I accomplished those along with having two touchdowns. One a pick-six and another a strip sack scoop and score.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would describe my type of play as someone who plays with confidence, a playmaker, physical, high motor, competitive, practice how you play, someone who is versatile, someone who is selfless, and lastly just someone who wants to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I really wanna get a good fill for the Cadence. Things the quarterback does before snapping the ball, rather it’s rubbing his towel, looking left to right, or even yelling fake cadences before snapping the ball. Other things I look out for are tips from the oline men, leaning backward, light on their hand’s thinking flips, same with tight ends aligned in the core. Understanding that the tightens will always take you to the play is big and I make sure I know where he is all the time. While looking at the formation alignments the different tipped splits from WRs allows me to get great route recognition from their splits. Other things would be how physical the WRs are on the perimeter, are they good blockers and are they physical. Another thing would be who would they put as a blocker on bubbles, and who would be the person to catch the ball on the bubble things like that.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Things that separate me from other pro prospects at my position would be the speed at which I play the game, my ability to defeat perimeter blocks, and the speed and body control I have when blitzing off the edge. I’m a person who wants to win I love gaining knowledge from others and always understanding that it’s more that can be learned. I think my biggest separation is how versatile I am across the board someone who can run down make a tackle on the kickoff, then line up on the edge and blitz to beat a tackle or guard for a TFL. I’m a person that’s selfless by any means. Having the ability to play multiple positions and always playing with high confidence. I’m Just a competitor!

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

For this off-season, I wanted to just get into as many bowl games as I could to showcase my talent, get my name out there meet new people, and network. Other things that I’m doing this offseason are trying to get myself fit for any position I will be needed at rather its strong safety, Nickel, or even corner In some schemes.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths that I will bring to a team would be first my IQ for the game, being able to familiarize myself with different personals and knowing things to expect, other things would be my work ethic, rather it’s watching film or someone who practices as if it’s a game every time I hit the field. Next would be my leadership getting guys together that have never been together I think that’s huge when you talk about football, team, and family. When it comes to off the field I wanna be that reliable source to my teammates when questions need to be asked or answered, I wanna build relationships with the community. And lastly just doing the right thing even when there is no one watching it’s always bigger than just you!

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and other pro leagues would be to cut the tape on, truthfully I’m that player that’s passionate about making plays for my team. I play with only 1 speed rather it’s in practice or a game. I’m a Person who went through adversity just like many other athletes and took full advantage of that opportunity. When it comes to me I’m a great person before a great athlete I love to be a person you can trust and aspect to do the right thing when no one is looking, when it comes to being an athlete I just love what I do with a purpose just looking for that opportunity to be a difference maker professionally.
