Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I did not set any goals besides to be the best leader I could possibly be and help my team win as many games as possible. Ended the season with a record of 9-2. I did not set any specific goals because I didn’t want to limit myself. I like to play free and not worry about stats but only to win the game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I am very hardworking and determined to win. I will do anything to put our team in a position to win. I am also a good leader.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus first if I made the correct read and then if my timing was good. I also like looking at my footwork and where my eyes are while the play is developing. This is to ensure I am moving the safety with my eyes and getting the ball out at the right times.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Something that separates me from other athletes was I started my football career in a wing T offense. This put me at a disadvantage going into college ball and I worked really hard to learn this completely new offense and get up to speed with it. I am a fast learner and have a lot of football knowledge and I really look forward to expanding it.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

It is pretty basic but just practice and train everyday. I really believe that practice makes perfect and you can’t take days off. You never know when your time is coming and you always have to be ready.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring leadership that will impact the team in a very positive way. I lead by example until I gain the team’s respect. I believe if you are going to be a leader you must lead by example if you are wanting people to follow you. On the field I have a unique skill set that I have worked very hard for. I have a very strong arm that I can push the ball down the field with and am able to extend plays with my legs. I am a dual threat QB and am not afraid to put my body on the line for the team.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Some of the best quarterbacks were drafted either very late or undrafted. Tom Brady for example. Take a shot on me and you will not regret it.
