What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal was to win the conference, we fell a win short of that, but another goal was to get All Conference which I accomplished.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

That extra year gave me more time to gain my knowledge while getting bigger, stronger and more elusive to play multiple positions.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am hard worker, leader vocally and by example and quick to move on to the next play if something bad happened the play before. 100% every rep!

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I study keys and tendencies of a defender when they are doing stunts, trying to run a blitz or working their favorite moves, I want to be as sharp as possible when playing my opponent so I can get an advantage. CHESS NOT CHECKERS!

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates is versatility. I played almost every position on the line in my college career, the only position I didn’t get game reps at was center, but best believe if I was put in that position I would succeed in it.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

First of all get healthy coming off a knee surgery, I want to get healthy and back to 100%. My plan is to focus on my upper body get it as strong as ever so I can perform well on the 225 bench rep max while slowly working to get my full range of motion back so I can start working on my speed training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a leader on and off the field, my words carry and go a long way. I just want to give motivation to my teammates both on the field and off. I want everybody to win around me, seeing my people win makes me feel good, playing is the easy part, motivating is the challenge for me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

When you acquire a guy like me, you’re getting a selfless, hardworking, versatile player that can provide on and off the field. I’ll do anything to win. All I need is a shot and I’ll do the rest to kick that door down!
