Brandon Brice: 2019 Draft Prospect Interview

Name: Brandon Brice
School: Harding
Position: DB/S/Nickle
Height: 6’0″

Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Heading into my senior season, I wanted to earn the starting spot, the previous season I never started a game. So I worked the whole summer, watching my mistakes from my junior year and bettering myself day in and day out. By game one I was named the starter.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m a coachable, smart and trustworthy player on and off the field, also that I am capable of playing any position on the field. I push my teammates to take every practice rep as if it were a game so in the game it will just be an instinct.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film to try and better myself, I focus on how fast my reactions are. I am my biggest critic and love constructive criticism. Focus on body posture and fixing my mistakes until they don’t occur anymore. Also focus on how my teammates react to certain things to put me in a better position to make plays.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me from other players is that I am just not a one position player, I move around a lot on the defense. Not only am I willing to go 100 percent on defense but I take pride in special teams because it can make or break a game and help the team win championships.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am training harder than every so I am prepared for any opportunity that prevents itself. Focusing on every aspects of my game to become better day in and day out.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths I will bring to a team are actions and accountability. I can say all these things but in all reality I have to show an organization what I can do other than just saying them on the internet or in interviews. Off the field I am trust worthy, smart and respectful to society.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch is that, the organization that doesn’t pass up on me will be getting a player that can play any position you put him at. I’m a trustworthy guy who loves to work and nothing was ever handed to me. A leader by example that will sacrifice his body day in and day out.
