Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The main goal I had set was to help lead the team reach another conference championship & national championship. Also, to become more of an “and guy” not a “but guy”.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a gritty, relentless, effort-giving, great attitude, tenacious student of the game.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the tendencies of the QBs and WRs. As well as the RBs and OL. Envisioning my defense against their offense, what they do “best” and most often. Knowing what’s coming helps me play fast and make plays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My consistency and reliability. Retaining information in the film room and executing it on the field. Also, being a coachable guy and understanding what’s needed from me.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
This offseason I plan to use my surrounding resources including my current strength coach, speed coach, nutritionists and physical trainers to help me stay healthy and get bigger, stronger, faster.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths and abilities would be my ability to adapt and adjust, high IQ, tackling, and physicality.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
The game of football has brought so many memories to myself and the ones who’ve been apart of this journey. I am ready to work and compete for any opportunity that is presented in front of me!
