Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

At the beginning of the season we set goals as a unit, as well as individual. Personally, I set a goal to deserve a shot at the NFL. This goal was oriented around production. We looked at the average amount of sacks, tfls, and tackles each senior produced in his last year for the first and second rounders and we tried to match or do better than those numbers.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coach and teammates would say that I’m a hard working player who puts the team first. I’m a guy who’s going to do things right. I’m going to be where they need and when they need me at all times.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Looking at film, I’m always harsh on myself about the little details. I always look at my technique. I critique my hand placement, my steps, my explosiveness, my knowledge of the play, and my speed/power. I am always looking to improve on the little things. The little things matter for the trenches, it’s a game of inches in there.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from others is my drive. I’m not afraid to work, I’m willing to work my way up from the bottom just like I did in college. To me, it doesn’t matter what position they put me in, I’ll play any position since I’m ready to learn. I just need a chance for a door to open so I can be in a building learning their system.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off season plan is to fix my imbalance and become more stable and confident in my technique. I am looking to gain weight in muscle mass just to be more sturdy, showing them I have the power and speed to play at this level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The abilities I can bring is someone who is willing to continue going when things get hard. At the next level I know it’s a different level of players, but I’m ready to learn and sharpen my skills with other players. I don’t shy away from work. I’m strong and physical and someone that’s just happy to be working for what I love with god on my side, guiding me down the path he has set for me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch would be that I’m willing to play anywhere. I am just looking for a team to take me in so I can show them that they made the right choice. Whatever position they need me to learn, I’m willing to learn and give it my all.
