Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to get a third conference win, win a national championship, but unfortunately we didn’t have the season we wanted. On the bright side, I made all conference for the third time.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m passionate about the game, hardworking, not arrogant, and that I’m a team player, willing to do anything to help the team/organization be successful.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I personally think I can improve on pass rush and getting off blocks better.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Being able to, not only know what my responsibility, but also know everyone else’s, so I could help put people in the right places to make sure the defense is on the same page.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My main focus is to get faster and work on being more fluid in my movements while also continuing to improve my knowledge and being able to adapt to the professional level.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Being knowledgeable and understanding where I fit in the run and pass lanes and to be able to get off blocks against bigger lineman despite my size. As for as off the field, I like doing things for the younger generation to help keep them out of trouble.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I know I may come from a smaller school and I have to work even harder because of that, but if anyone takes a chance on me, I’ll make the most out of my opportunity. I know how to take coaching and I’m always eager to learn.
