Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
Preseason defensive player of the year, preseason All-American.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say that I am a leader that plays hard and motivates the team when we’re up or facing adversity.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I watch film I go back and forth and study my every movement from my first step to what I do at first contact. I see where my eyes are, where my hands are, and my pad level. I go through every detail that helped me make a play and what made me miss a play, and I correct things in both situations.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My faith system and determination separates me from players at my position and any player on the field. I believe in myself and I play with relentless effort. I have the mindset that I won’t be stopped or denied.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I am training with Grossetti Performance for speed, strength, and mobility.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a hidden gem. I play hard every snap. I understand the game and how big a single play is. My mindset influences teammates around me and I work to be unstoppable. Off the field, I am a level headed genuine person as I was raised to be. I’m all about being optimistic focusing on what I can control.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I am a work horse with plenty of energy to exert toward my craft. I strive to be the best until I achieve that and I’m hungry for more. I am a student of the game because this is my love and passion. My mentality is unique, I won’t quit, but I am very conscious. I bring not only my physical abilities, but mental attributes that not only elevate my game, but challenging others around me.
