Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some of my goals I set started with numbers in the weight room which included many different lifts and other things throughout each year. After setting goals for weight lifting, I wanted to challenge myself with being a good leader when being chosen as a captain. When each of my goals were set I exceeded the limit of each number every year, and was a great example of a good leader and captain to my team. Every goal I set out was to give me confidence in what I was doing and that was getting myself better physically and mentally.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches and teammates will describe me as a passionate player, someone who has love for the sport and his teammates he is surrounded by. Many of my coaches will also describe me as an respected leader, I have nothing but respect for everyone and trusting the organization is very important.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film the first thing I look at is my stance and how my feet are set, after looking at that I can get a sense of how I can improve my stance and explode out of it. Secondly, I look at how I fit up gaps and engage with blocks, where my hand placement is at during that play. After I see this I focus on practicing how I can be stronger and better with my block destruction and footwork, during the season when we have to do our positional drills I really focus like I’m in a game situation. After all this the last thing I focus on is my swarm to the ball every play, wherever the ball is I should be there no matter what!

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel what separates me from other pro prospects at my position is my work ethic and to become better everyday, nothing will get in my way from improving myself everyday. I feel nobody has the amount of love for this sport than I have. That amount of focus I put into when it comes to watching film, getting your teammates together to watch film, and watching film with coaches.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to train with my personal trainer staying active on my football mechanics and knowledge everyday.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The kind of strengths I will bring to the team is my ability to listen and execute in one hundred percent, I have the ability to perform the best in any position and wherever that position is I’m giving my full attention and effort. When it comes to off the field I have no intention in anything but football, there is no reason but to stay humble throughout your life no matter what you accomplish throughout your career.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues is that all I need is a chance to show my skills and what I’m capable of, I want nothing more to play for a team and help them win a championship, no matter if it’s my position or not I’m here to work and give one hundred percent everyday, and if nobody is interested just know I will never give up on the process.
